Nicolas de Olano

Founder & Senior Recruiter 

With a unique background that spans continents and industries, I bring a fresh and dynamic approach to recruiting. Originally from Spain, educated in Chile, and refined in the U.S., my journey has equipped me with a global perspective and a deep understanding of people. My career began in sales, where I was a top performer at ADP. I then transitioned to operations at McDonald’s, where I consistently exceeded expectations and earned accolades at Hamburger University. It was here that I discovered my true passion: building profitable business units powered by exceptional teams.

For over four years, I honed my expertise as a hiring manager, building and nurturing high-performing teams that consistently achieved top profitability while maintaining some of the lowest turnover rates in the industry. This hands-on experience fueled my passion for recruiting and inspired me to pivot into the field. I quickly rose to become one of the top recruiters at one of the largest firms in metro Atlanta. During my tenure, I successfully placed over 250 candidates across 50+ clients, ranging from small businesses to Fortune 500 companies.

Driven by my passion for human capital and a desire to provide unmatched service, I decided to launch my own company, On Target Recruiting RSI. My specialty lies in identifying and placing the right talent to help businesses thrive.

As a seasoned recruitment professional, I excel at identifying talent, matching qualifications and job-seeker preferences with job requirements and company culture, and managing relationships throughout the recruitment process.

My journey began as an Accounting & Finance Recruiter in Atlanta in July 2008—right before the recession hit. That baptism by fire turned into a blessing, enabling me to successfully place over 200 Accounting professionals in a 3-year period, during one of the toughest economic periods in decades. As a manager, my teams placed over 2,000 Accounting & Finance professionals over a six-year span, solidifying our reputation as one of the top staffing firms in Atlanta. More importantly, we changed lives for the better. After a 7-year break from the Atlanta market, I’ve decided to reengage the market I know so well on a remote basis.
